'Save Soil' is a global movement launched by Sadhguru to address the soil crisis by bringing together people from around the world to stand up for soil health and supporting leaders of all nations to institute national policies and actions toward increasing the organic content in cultivable soil.
However, the Save Soil movement misses one crucial thing: trace minerals in soils can never be returned by plants that grow (and the compost they form) on soil lacking vital trace minerals.
The ONLY solution is to remineralize farm soils with glacial clays or volcanic ash. Those are the only sources of trace minerals now being given to us by mother Earth.
Still, Sadhguru is doing the right thing by spreading the word about the dreadful state of farmland soils.
Nevertheless, it is worth listening to what Sadhguru tells us on his website.
It’s all well and good for some of us to purchase pure plant-derived minerals via this website to get all the trace minerals we ought to have in our food in the first place. But really, wouldn’t it be MUCH better and cheaper for everyone on the planet if we had all those minerals in our foods?
All it will take to help humanity survive for years to come is to pack up our wars and greed for money and fund a global soil remineralization campaign.
Then we won’t need to rely on chemical factories to supply expensive NPK fertilizer, herbicides, and pesticides. Instead, with a full spectrum of trace minerals inside them, plants will have the natural equipment to make their own defensive mechanisms against insect pests.
